Hi, I’m Lincoln Burgess, the grandson of the late Alan Cruickshank of Cruickshank Printers & Stationers. I grew up surrounded by stationery and had a stash of pens, markers and highlighters that many people would envy.

After the passing of my grandfather, the family business was sold and I took up a position at the local stationery wholesaler formerly known as Satex Distributors. During my time there I rose through the ranks and became the Sales & Marketing Manager. That’s where I broadened my stationery knowledge and developed my sales skills over a 10-year period.

The time eventually came whereby I needed a new challenge so I decided to revisit a past passion in Graphic Design. This is how Linking Industries was originally born however the passion didn’t last long and I was soon looking for new opportunities back in the stationery industry once again.

Fast forward to today and I have found myself representing one of the biggest office products manufacturers in the world. As the WA/QLD Sales Agent for ACCO Brands Australia, I represent some of the world’s most popular brands such as Artline, Spirax, Colourhide, Stabilo, Derwent, Marbig & Texta just to name a few.

As a sales agent, I work closely with Newspower, newsXpress, nextra and The Lucky Charm groups in my territories. While it’s my role to promote and sell products, my enjoyment comes from helping newsagents merchandise their stores and make them inviting for their customers.
